Meštar.hr is an advanced digital platform designed to simplify the process of finding craftsmen for various jobs in Croatia. Clients can easily post their requests, while craftsmen receive notifications about new job opportunities that match their skills and location. The platform enables direct communication through an integrated chat system, as well as through other available contact information, which accelerates the agreement and execution of jobs.

Technical Specifications

The platform is developed as a Progressive Web Application (PWA), using Laravel for the backend and Nuxt.js for the frontend, ensuring speed, stability, and responsiveness. Key technical features include:

• User Profiles – each registered user has a personalized profile for managing personal information, viewing request history, and tracking active jobs.
• Review System – users rate craftsmen after completing a job, helping future users make informed decisions.
• Push Notifications – integrated via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), these notifications provide timely alerts to users and craftsmen about new job opportunities.
• Notification Management – users can customize their notification settings, choosing between email and push notifications to receive information in the way that suits them best.
• Internal Chat System – implemented using Laravel WebSocket and Socket.IO technology, it allows secure and rapid communication between clients and craftsmen.
• Advanced Search Engine – utilizes TNT Search Driver for fast and accurate searches for craftsmen based on various criteria.

This project demonstrates how digital platforms can significantly accelerate the search for skilled workers, facilitate transparent communication, and enhance service quality through a review system, contributing to better organization, saving time, and providing clients with the confidence to find the right craftsman.
